Clinical Aromatherapy with Lavender and Tea Tree

October 3: This workshop is designed to explore the concept of clinical aromatherapy, defined as the skilled use of essential oils for therapeutic use. We'll discuss the clinical use of two versatile oils, lavender and tea tree, including folklore, chemistry, therapeutic indications, safety, methods of application and relevant scientific studies. Aromatherapy is one of the fastest growing complementary therapies in the United States today, yet is often misunderstood. For many, the word aromatherapy conjures the image of scented candles and potpourri. Clinical Aromatherapy is not only good for the soul, It is powerful plant medicine that can be used quite well with most any healing modality. Attendees will be awarded NCBTMB CEU's (nursing CEU's pending). Presented by Donna Whyte-English, MSN, FNP-BC, CCAP Time: 1 - 4 PM (cost includes 2 ml of either oil)
