                                          DAILY ITINERARY

(Oct. 29) Wednesday: Travel non-stop from New York City to Beijing.
       
Thursday: Arrive Thursday after crossing date line and transfer to the 
     JianGuo Garden Hotel.  Each day a bountiful Buffet breakfast will be 
     served. This hotel offers a full range of luxury services (Pool, Fitness 
     Center, Sauna, 24 hour room Service) 
     
Friday: Free Day to enjoy on your own. Visit the Pearl & Silk Markets.
     Enjoy the Walking Street or venture out this evening to the Night Market (B)

Saturday: Experience the famous and breath-taking Great Wall today. 
       Lunch will be included along with tours of magnificent Jade & 
      Cloisonné Factories. We will also take a boat trip down the famous
      Qinglong Gorge. (B, L)

Sunday: Tour the Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Tian'An Man 
       Square  with a lovely Chinese Lunch. (B, L)

Monday: This day offers everyone the rare opportunity to tour a 
       Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. After our tour,
       Students  will stay in class while others have a free day. (B)

Monday -  Wenesday: These next three days can be used as free days to enjoy 
     Beijing's many sites. Our guides will be happy to help you with shopping needs 
     or visit the Temples, Prince Gong's Mansion or just people watch.
     Students will study at the Xuan Wu Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in 
     Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs or Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage) from 
     8:30AM - 4:30PM (B)

Thursday: Our day is free but we will enjoy a dinner together before being
      transported to the Beijing Railroad Station and travel overnite to Xi'an 
      (home of the Terra Cotta Soldiers) on a soft sleeper car 
     (much like the Orient Express). We arrive on Friday Morning (B)

Friday: We are escorted to the Five Star Luxury French hotel the Sofitel, inside 
      the ancient city's walls and close to EVERYTHING! We will have breakfast &
      refresh ourselves. We have a free day to head out to explore this city. (B)
      
Saturday: Today we have a Full day! We will be astounded by the Terra Cotta Soldiers 
     and then tour the ancient caves where local people live and have survived for hundreds
     of  years. This evening we are treated to a Grand Dumpling Dinner with ethnic show.

Sunday: We have a free day for optional tours like riding a bicycle around the City Wall,        Hiking the Hua Shan Mountain (one of just 5 sacred mountains in China) or visit 
the Art and Historical Museums as well as the Big and Little Pagoda. Amazing! (B)

Monday:  We leave Xi'an this morning and arrive in Beijing around 12:00 noon. We 
      will be transferred to the JianGuo Garden Hotel with the rest of the day free. (B)

Tuesday: This is our last day to say goodbye to old friends and finish our shopping (B)

Wednesday: Transfer to airport for our return flight to NYC and arrive home same day (B)
